- The founder ,Manjula has deeply personal reasons for being the driving force behind Aryan Ashram.
- She has known first-hand, the hardships that children without families face. Her experiences of fighting incredible odds has given her the strength and the resolve to be create a warm, nurturing space for the children who have no one else to turn to.
- Manjula has been running the Ashram for over 7 years with virtually no external support, relying on her personal savings, ingenuity and hard work. Due to impact of COVID and her own health concerns she started looking out for external support.
HEAD FATHER GUARDIAN
- The founder Srinivas C practinng yoga instructuer who had his share of hardships as child, which inspired him to provide the love, care and stability that they sorely missed while he was growing up
- They have put themselves through formal education against many odds and have been practicing as yoga instructors
- COVID-19 dealt them a blow when they lost their usual source of income
- At the same time, the number of children increased to the current number due to the widespread hardships that COVID-19 dealt to underprivileged families
